What should I do if I’m not happy about any aspect of my child’s provision?
At Melbourn Primary School, we really strive to do the best for your children and to communicate effectively with you as their families. If at any point you are unsure about or unhappy with your child’s Special Educational Needs provision, then I would urge you to come in and speak to your child’s class teacher. If, having met with the class teacher you are still unclear, unhappy or concerned, then please do make an appointment to speak to me – Abigail Roberts – SENDCo. I will be happy to listen to your concerns and to work together to find a solution.
Any residual concerns should be taken firstly to Miss Tiffany Luckett (Deputy Headteacher) and secondly to the Headteacher – Mrs Stephanie Wilcox.
Procedures for making a formal complaint are described in detail in the school’s Complaint Policy – which can be found on the school website: http://www.melbournprimaryschool.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/MPS-Complaints-Policy-2012.pdf – or is available from the school office.
