After school activities
Below is information on the after school activities we are running this term.
Please note, some clubs have places for a limited number of children and thus names are selected on a first come, first served basis. If, for any reason, your child decides to stop attending a club during the term, the office should be informed in writing. Unfortunately, any payments cannot be refunded.
If your child would like to attend one of the clubs and is on free school meals, then please make an appointment to see Mrs Staley, Family Support Worker, to discuss this issue.
All Foundation, Year 1, 2, 3 & 4 pupils must be collected at the end of clubs. If you give permission for your year 5 or 6 child to walk home please indicate on the reply slip. If you wish to meet your year 5 or 6 child outside the school grounds, then permission must be provided for them to walk home.
In general, after school clubs will not be cancelled due to poor weather conditions. Alternative indoor related activities will be organised.
Finally, if a child is unable to attend a club session they must inform either the coach or the school office. If a child does not arrive as expected and the school has not been informed in advance, a text will be sent advising the parent. Due to problems encountered with non attendance, should we not be informed on three occasions the child will not be allowed to continue with the club.
Places for clubs run by the school need to be booked via the online system found at: https://login.schoolgateway.com/.
Please ensure you book your child onto the session before making payment, as making payment only, will not reserve a place. Any payment made will be refunded should the club be full when trying to book sessions. Finally, if a payment is required this must be paid before a place will be allocated.
If your child is unable to attend an after school club as it is full, please notify the school office and your child’s name will be added to a priority list for next term, if that club continues.
