Residential Trips 2023

Year 6 Trip to Condover (June 2023)

Day 1

Year 6 children have arrived safely to Condover Hall. Everyone showed enthusiasm once the impressive manor appeared in the horizon. We have already been given a tour of the surroundings and your children have had a go at the first activity.

Day 2

Our Year 6s have had a fantastically busy day of activities in the sunshine. The children have done a range of high ropes activities today, including climbing, Jacobs Ladder and abseiling. Everyone had a go at at least one of the activities and it was wonderful to see how well the children supported each other. The day ended with a fun and energetic silent disco. We have been really proud of how polite and respectful the children have been in the communal restaurant — they have been shining examples for other cohorts.

Day 3

What an adrenaline-filled day at Condover! The excitement has included rafting, tunnelling, trapeze and even a birthday! The highlight was certainly splashing around in the lake, during raft building. We have Giant Cluedo to look forward to this evening, so the fun isn’t over yet!

Day 4

Your children have had another sunny and exciting day at Condover. They have developed their teamwork skills in a game of archery tag and some of them have had a go at kayaking for the first time. What could be a better way to end a residential trip, than having a campfire! We are all enjoying singing around the fire and roasting marshmallows!

Year 4 Trip to Burwell (May 2023)

Day 1

Year 4 have arrived safely at Burwell and have already thrown themselves into the spirit of adventure! We have explored the grounds and played some team-building games which have been great fun. The food has not disappointed and we're already looking forward to dinner!

Day 2

The children have done us proud today; each and every one of them has pushed themselves to get involved with the wonderful activities on offer and we have had such fun! They are already bursting with stories to tell you tomorrow upon their return, and we're sure you can't wait to hear all about it. We've just finished our hot chocolates on the lawn after some highly amusing campfire songs and will be heading up to bed soon!
